Our Favorite Peanut Butter Cookie Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Old Fashioned Oats heaping
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 2-3 tbsp. Maple Syrup
  • tsp. Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Salted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Natural Peanut Butter
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Add the oats, milk, maple syrup, and salt to a small saucepan. Stir well.
  • Heat the oat mixture over medium-high heat, stirring often until it comes to a high simmer. Do not allow the oats to boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
  • Once the 5 minute cook time is up, remove the oats from the heat and stir in the butter until melted.
  • Add the peanut butter and stir well to combine.
  • Finally, add the vanilla extract, stir, and serve immediately.
